thanks. I initially thought you meant 150 MW GT but now after rereading I see that wasn't specified. Anyway, I agree that efficiency of modern equipment will be much better. Only issue can be whether the syngas quality in terms of its variability is suitable for a modern GT - I think older boilers would be more forgiving for variation. IMO this won't be a show stopper. LNC looked into it in 2001 with GE. Agree with CXY risk in this project much less than with GTL focus.

Ohh and thanks for confirming the number of wells. This indicates to me that Blinderman/Ergo Exergy are most likely using the Soviet practice from the 1960s with their UCG designs. They have extended well spacings out to 50 - 60m from about 30 - 40m, but that looks to be the only major difference, and is dependant on the coal.
