sharecall - I feel the same way regarding the Vote.
fatsoh - I agree with a lot of what you say. I don't necessarily agree with your sentiment that quality products "always" sell, but that's me. And I don't think Qantas is cheapening their product. As far as I was aware, they're expanding into a faster growing market, which is LCC-ing in Asia.
As for the grounding, I see it a different way. I see it as though Alan Joyce had no alternative but ground the fleet to get the govt to step in and force FWA to arbitrate and hopefully reach somewhere in the middle.
But that's just my opinion, and everyone is entitled to one. I guess that's all we've got.
