Hi ThisisJamo. My comments were in reference to the fact that historically Thailand have challenges with resorvoirs due to how they are structured. TAP is drilling 15 development wells 10 producers and 5 water injection wells. This shows that the permit is complex - e.g. the oil is needs to be extracted from multiple compartments.
As you quite rightly point out the permit is in shallow water depth so therefore the cost of drilling is a lot less.
In my opinion it will take some time until all 15 wells are completed and will therefore take time for production levels to be maximised to the levels that have been communicated.
With any oil production permits they are prone to flow issues and take time to determine how to maximise production.
It will be very interesting to see the barrels being produced after the initial production wells.
