Ive been in this company for nearly a year, and I am surprised to continue discovering something new. Part of the problem investors have with BIG is they find it difficult to understand what Big does and the future direction. Most people think this is primarily a video production company, understandably as that is currently the money maker. Many friends ask me, couldnt any other company come along and produce videos? Wouldnt it be easy to replicate this process? Even though these comments have some merit, it shows a lack of understanding of the business model. It is clear management realise that the traditional video production space will become more competitive, and I feel they are trying to produce a business model that would be very hard to replicate. Big describe themselves as "innovative disruptors in the online video space... social media platform and video content creators". Video content creators. They are not saying traditional filming of video. They are talking about creating video content. They keep talking about all the terabytes of video they already have that could be re-purposed for other businesses. Imagine producing content for businesses without having to even film. The app in combination with this business model could change the way businesses advertise. Revenue would be generated through producing video content, as well as advertising. Its clear the company has a strong and unique vision, and they are working hard to achieve it. The next few months IMO are very significant. Roll out of the TV show and app. Next year we could be a very different company.
