I don't mean to preach, but the post I made back on 18th Jan is well worth bearing in mind:
"Gonna stick my neck out here and say many of the comments by members about todays MFS plunge echo what members were saying about CNP.
OK, so they may be entirely different companies with different circumstances.
But, the big similarity is that the small punter could not accept the fact such a previously well thought of stock could drop so much. Hence they jumped in without any idea of all the facts - many did their proverbials!
As I said then, and I said again about MFS today, the big end of town were the ones getting out today. These guys are not going to dump at a huge loss unless they have very good reason.
For such a collective sell-off by insto's the small guy would be well advised to sit back and wait for the dust to settle.
