Yeah. Quite apart from whether someone likes or dislikes this as an investment (or speculation) now, the writer clearly doesn't understand how to read financials.

The core debt was there at the half year, only most of it was classified as "liabilities classified as held for sale" given they were looking to offload Stella. Mis-statements such as this definitely don't help sentiment.

As an side, yesterday I re-read the presentation made at the time MFS decided not to sell Stella. Something they made clear then was that not proceeding with a sale meant they would would also NOT do an IPO of Stella. Now technically what they proposed was not an IPO, however it is almost playing with words to say it wasn't.
