In the entire article I find the last line quite fascinating! It says "Quasar said it would respond in due course to Alliance's statements." Quasar, Heathgate, BB have not been measured or taken due course so far. All their comments so far have just been to urge AGS to get on with it (presumably that meant caving into Q). The quote in so far as it can be believed tends to show that Quasar is taking AGS's actions VERY seriously.

Both sides are engaged in a VERY high stake game of poker in which either could lose very badly. I would love to see Quasar get run over but I think in the end they and AGS are practical businessmen (and women) and a compromise will be reached. Whether this is a buyout at reasonable terms, this would be the best for both parties. Quasar has a similar JV with GIR I am led to believe and that may be weighing on their mind.

I believe AGS had no option but to take this course. While this doesn't guarantee a satisfactory result I congratulate management for taking it!
