All indications are that the shooter was mentally ill and its ridiculous for RW Populists to speculate on his political membership.
Pensilvania still has capital punishment so it would be absurd to argue that such a person was sane given that, at 20, the outcome for his actions were: -being shot dead by security (which happened) -capital punishment later -life in jail.
Obviously the authorities that gave him a licence to own such a firearm are partially responsible and, IMO, this is just another US example of why the USA should have Aussie type gun restrictions.
