I just did some shopping and was disappointed at the asking price for broccoli at $15.00/kg.
This price has doubled in two weeks. Broccoli is peak season and IGA had heaps.
The sad thing is much of it will probably rot and be wasted at the asking price.
I will not be robbed; frozen vegetables will have to suffice.
If you look at the current Sydney market report no longer quotes prices.
The report two weeks ago quoted broccoli at $8.00/kg, retail.
Rationing and price control will be required soon I believe.
