funny thing - is that after watso read your post, then watso again bought some frozen chips - but again did them in the air fryer … - ok that was half of 1kg packet of cheap frozen chips (from coles , from memory) ..
interestingly, but the local fish and chip shop have a good $2 minimum chips - and they give a super good serve ..
maybe the small time local business model is to offer a good serve of minimum chips - and attract some customers to pay for a full serve of fish and chips
