Not sure what is going on with my cherry tree, it's grafted with two low chill varieties.
Yeh I don't have much luck with Cherries here either.
Had 4 that I planted out with the other fruit trees did Ok for awhile but then we get the hot north winds in summer that really knock em about.
Lost 2 of them, moved the other 2 near a fence so they don't cop the full force of the north wind and I can keep em watered better.
Think mine are Bing variety.
Ones OK the other still looking a bit sad.
Had a handfull of cherries forming last year, they were starting to colour up but thought nah won't have to net yet. Ha Ha came out next morning all gone.
Maybe I''ll get a taste this year bit of blossom on 1.
Will persist for awhile but my chain saw finger is getting itchy.
Can always go up to the Adelaide Hills here when they are in season and pick a few kg.
