Welcome to the New Year.
January Update.
Veggie patch hanging in there 42 degree days and little rain for the month having an effect.
9.4mm rain for the month.
Tomatoes doing OK, but not as many on bushes this year, I’d say due to the 40 degree days.
Corn doing OK.
Brown onions starting to wilt now and bulbing up. Might have a few smaller ones and make a jar of pickled onions.
Zucchini’s going bezerko well you can’t kill them can ya?
Climbing beans, apple & burpless cucumbers, pumpkin starting to run.
Still getting a few strawberries.
Got a heap of Apricots, frozen lots had to invest in a chest freezer.
Nectarines getting a few but affected by heat, still can’t beat fresh bowl nectarines, don’t forget the ice cream.
Girls going OK, helped out with some curried eggs.
Send me some rain.
Yummo
