I was told to grow garlic by planting on Mother's day and picking on Father's day. I had about 10 medium pots of them last year and had a fantastic crop. Other stipulation was to make sure they had good drainage.

Do you find you plant garlic this same time of the year every year or do you do multiple crops?

Also i thought potatoes were a winter crop so i am way out of wack by the sounds of it.
