they look good .. watso likes those red ones .. ie the ruby lous
watso's spuds are nowhere near ready for harvest yet ,, but in total watso has about 32 plants above the surface - from just breaking ground - to ones maybe about 30cm.. and then there is another patch where watso recently planted another 11... and will plant some more
watso has 3 large flower pots in which he planted 3 spuds in each pot.. 4 plants have just popped their heads above the parapets (ie surfaced) .. the idea there is to add more soil as the plants grow
doing a bit of kerbsiding on the way back from the shops the other day, and watso picked up a few round pieces of glass - which neatly fitted over the pots .. probably a good idea as maybe there is too much rain ..
the sprouting onions and garlic seem to be doing ok as well ..
for what it is worth, but woolies were selling small sized ruby lous for $3/kg... mmm well watso bought a few kg for the rtc price of 60c/kg .. and lol - they are ready for planting
