G FESS UP WATSO .. YOU ARE A LOSER ..

two lovely pics.. of gardeners ecstasy from 2 years ago .. lol lol was similar last year and again this year .. .. lol lol watso did scratch around a bit .. but never harvested too much..

watso was not programmed to be a vege and fruit grower .. even though as a kid, watso had half the back yard under cultivation..

.. easier just to buy the specials at spud shed

watso's spuds are nowhere near ready for harvest yet ,, but in total watso has about 32 plants above the surface - from just breaking ground - to ones maybe about 30cm.. and then there is another patch where watso recently planted another 11... and will plant some more

watso has 3 large flower pots in which he planted 3 spuds in each pot.. 4 plants have just popped their heads above the parapets (ie surfaced) .. the idea there is to add more soil as the plants grow

doing a bit of kerbsiding on the way back from the shops the other day, and watso picked up a few round pieces of glass - which neatly fitted over the pots .. probably a good idea as maybe there is too much rain ..

the sprouting onions and garlic seem to be doing ok as well ..

for what it is worth, but woolies were selling small sized ruby lous for $3/kg... mmm well watso bought a few kg for the rtc price of 60c/kg .. and lol - they are ready for planting

just admit watso .. the whole lot was a total flop.. seriously watso - you are useless at this vege growing game

imagine that - each plant gives maybe 1kg of potatoes ... so 40 plants x 1kg = ??? (just when one needs a calculator - the batteries are flat) ..

in relation to the earlier post from watso .. ie

the second planting - 2 or 3 weeks later - and another approx 10 new plants (from about 20 old spuds) - only a couple of cm popping out of the ground.

lol lol watso put on a better pair of glasses - and counted 15 this morning ..

and also from the earlier post ..

1.5 weeks ago - watso planted another 10 old spuds ..ok watso cannot see anything yet - but might have a scratch around to see if they have started to grow..

ok - it was actually 9 spuds in 3 containers (ie 3 in each container) .. watso had a bit of a scratch around this morning - and found a couple of plants - ready to break the surface .. so hopefully there are another 7

also planted another 11 old spuds this morning .. so watso is looking forward to having 45 plants .. but watso has more old spuds to plant ..

and a few weeks ago - watso planted the garlic which was starting to grow in the pantry

for what it is worth - but as a kid - watso had the whole back yard under cultivation - and his favourite book was YATES GARDEN GUIDE .. but really only focussed on the vegie section ..

lol lol totally stupid - but watso the kid would have dreams of growing vegies and selling them .. lol lol that was in the good old days when mrs murray would have watso work for an hour or two - doing gardening - and get paid a sixpence

ahh for the good old days - when as a kid - could go just around the corner - and down the hill a bit and collect cow pats (or horse pats) ..
