    Obviously you have a mineral deficiency. I suggest that you have a deficiency of zinc and copper which you only need in trace proportions. To fill fruit and sweeten them you also need sulphate of potash. Do not use muriate of potash.

    When I sell citrus in the nursery, I put a small piece of copper tube and some galv staples in the pot. I then advise that they need the potash as the flowering starts so that the plant sets fruit and fills the fruit as it grows. if you are planting citrus, it is a good idea to put the copper, zinc and iron in the bottom of the hole. For mature citrus I suggest nailing a couple of copper nails and a couple of galv clouts into the trunk.
