Mandarines are just staring to ripen, neighbours mandarin ripen some time ago. Mine are bigger and maybe due to over watering plus recent rain some are splitting but not a bad crop, it's only it's second year of fruiting Also evidence of rats getting at them, have put more baits out

Got 3 of the new raised garden beds, after filling the bottom with pruning and cardboard, I put in soil from the chook run and a heap of chook poo. Then filled with some good veg mix and compost from bunnings topped off with straw mulch. So it cost me about $60 to fill each raised garden bed, could have been cheaper to get a truck load of soil but it was easier

Have garlic, french shallots and sprouting broccoli in this one, all looking good but think I need to put snail pellets down

Purple sprouting broccoli and strawberrys in this new bed, broad beans and sweet peas the other, put those seeds in weekend before last and not sprouted yet. Humm seed may be past the use by date, if they don't spout by the weekend I'll buy some more

Some parsley and more strawberries, already see fruit developing. LOL took me a while to work out the design for the netting frame and was not all that happy with it, the in a light bulb moment I worked out the electrical conduit could just bend as I did above with one brace tied in at the top

Concerned my raspberry plants have died off, but maybe too early for the to shoot

One passion fruit vine is producing flowers but no fruit set, looks like the bees have abandon the hive in the big tree out the back. Hope they come back

Got around to replacing the trellising for the other passion fruit vine that died, 2 x pine poles and 2 x sheets light gauge reo-mesh works well and looks neat

Marron are doing well, there a few that are plate size then a heap near legal size. But I am amazed at the hundreds of juvenile marron of different sizes. Photo's don't do them justis but you should be able to see some juveniles and glass shrimp, looks like I have not a bad ecosystem
