I think you may just find that is what the digger's question to Julia was in reference to.

They are soldiers yes but humans who want to return home to their family also ... any Prime minister should hold their safety in the highest regard ... this current one couldn't even be bothered to show up to National Security meetings when in acting, just like the bloke who was said to leak that piece of info.

It's incredible that Julia showed up to chat with soldiers but wasn't even in the position to reassure that soldier one way or the other.
