As a subscriber to Canada's 'The Northern Miner' I have just been looking over its 100 year Anniversary publication. In it there is a glass half full version of Norman B Keevil Jr's journey to take Teck from an idea to what it is today.
In hindsight they made some contrarian decisions that have turned out well. Bullmoose (Coal), Hemlo (gold); Voisey's Bay (Nickel); Antamina (base metals). Will Alacran turn out to be another of these???
Below are snips of the final page of the article and in more detail the advice NBK gives which may be appropriate for AZS SHs with a "contrarian" (some may use another word) attitude.
Since I have decided to hold longer term the current SP is helping to average down. Only hindsight will tell if this was a wise decision.
Lets hope Teck chooses to execute an exploration program (rather than AZS which seems to be the case at the moment).
