yes... i agree, quality of our bauxite is key... the $US31/tonne i mentioned previously was an estimated average US import amount for 2008. So this predominantly includes other countries bauxite which is of lesser quality and hence would be cheaper.
From discussions with various sources, a fetching price (conservitively speaking) would be $US70/tonne for our product... and if you also conservatively estimate extraction costs of $US20/tonne, then we would be looking at revenue (before tax) of $50m next year on our bauxite production alone, increasing to $150m the following year with a 3MTpa operation... and so on...
Remember this does not include a potential JV with Yankuang Group for the construction of a refinery (and smelter) or revenue generated from the production of any other minerals found on our tenements...
