With respect to Discovery Fund, if there was a flap up at our end I reckon it was due to all the staff cuts. I imagine David Hastings and his 2IC Dennis Piers are knee deep in spreadsheets with Amgen. Up until a week ago Unilife were advertising for a staff accountant so I guess the finance dept needed help. As for management, they have one eye on ongoing programs and another eye on Amgen deal. Not sure how theyre juggling the 12 unsigned contracts in all of this.
Frustration is the word. Especially frustrating they only add a (1) weeks or so extension at a time. It sorta tells me the guts of the deal is bedded down (I think) except for the X factor - debate over a number in a spreadsheet or what?
There has to come a time very soon when The Big Fella will have to accept an offer or walk away.... bingo fuel....
