I woke up to the sounds of toot tooting this morning. Bit of a restless night for me. Not sure if it was the long positions I held, or the worry that Oscars mates are gonna put a horses head in my bed that kept me up. I said yesterday might be a good buy on close or next open. Chose to focus too much on yesterdays close, but ya gotta give a bit back to the trading gods (they have more money than me and most of youse). Still long but next 24 hours is critical. Metals may have stabilised, and lower oil may help the bullish case. Brent crude is still pretty expensive at $13 premium to WTI, but has been wider ($16+) the oil trend looks down to me.

My sentiment is buy long term as in weeks, but its kinda more grind sideways for weeks rather than rally strongly.

Also, was a bit upset by Coppertop Gillard being introduced as Ju-liar Gi-llard in the Whitehouse yesterday. Spoke to my inside man Bush, says his golfing mate Mick Dundee was so disgusted, he sold some of his cash stash of Aussie $s. He just sold it down to parity, but the sneaky brokers went stop hunting under parity for a bit. Bush also says noone wants to buy their bonds anymore. Apparently JPMorgs is worried if QE3 will or won't come later this year, and wants to know if they will need to start selling their gold and silver to get into yielding assets again. Dunno if helicopter Benny can keep dropping dollars from the sky if noone wants them.
Apparently theres a new POMO schedule, anyone know exactly when QE2 is set to finish?

Kind of a dreary outlook going forward on XJO, as a whole. I reackon up and flat till April/May some big falls late in the year (Sept/Oct) may present more long term buying opps? USD might gain some favour as equities fall.
Maybe one more spike high in PM's, or silver at least? Gold seems to want to fall, but silver still keen for new highs(or was 3 days ago). JP Morgs still has control of the silver market with 175mil oz still in their vaults. I think they will try to give it one more big spike between now and end of June. I'm not religous but god help those that still think they can crash JP Morgan by buying silver.

Would love to know what PIMCO intend to put their money into. Saw an article saying theyll buy in emerging economies. Might be good for asian resource buying countries, and base metals and XJO.
