Wow, what a night! I expected the selling to continue when I went to bed but I didn't expect to wake up to a 2% move in the "hour of power" and the aud futures to be at 80.81. I thought there might have been a bit of a bounce.
Today being friday I would expect some support as short positions are exited of prior to the weekend but there is definitely some fear in the market and that can change the market dynamics significantly.
Not surprisingly the VIX has been climbing pretty significantly so far this week.
