I'm reading your post and don't know what to make of it. I don't see it that way, not even close. I don't see how all this what you have described relates to what is being said in this interview of Josh Frydenberg (JF) by Sharri Marks (SM)....
I'm paraphrasing some main points, in chronological order, made by JF and SM. My view on what's been said and, more importantly, what has NOT been said, will be in another post underneath this one.
(01) Many Australians don't know how bad and dangerous the situation in Australia is (he refers to Antisemitism). (02) This is not just a Jewish community fight, this is Australia's fight (against Antisemitism). (03) Jews in Australia have lost their jobs, have seen their businesses closed because they are Jewish. (04) JF looks very moved and weeps, him and two others hug and comfort one another. (05) Holocaust survivors need to speak out for us to Albanese.
(06) The safety of the Holocaust survivors in Australia is now under threat. (07) Emergence of antisemitism around the world as a result of the failure of leadership. (08) JF talks about conspiracy theories - Jews involved in communism and capitalism. (09) Far-left in Australia have demonized and wrongly portrayed Israel as the oppressor, colonizer and appartheid state and we know that this is not true. (10) Those on the far-left convinced themselves that they are fighting racism but they are actually promoting racism with their antisemitic anti-Israel behaviour.
(11) John Howard and Julia Gillard - they understand Israel to be the beacon of democracy in the sea of hostility. (12) JF praises Israel for providing the world with know-how & high-tech. (13) SM: How university students can be so devoid of morals and reason? (referring to their support for Hamas). (14) A terrorist flag raised at some university in Australia (Hamas). (15) Chanting 'From the river to the sea' is inherently a violent statement.
(16) SM: Students have no sense of history and knowledge (I think she was referring to Australian students). (17) Zionism is a great thing - US president is a proud Zionist. (18) Young people have been brought up on a diet of disinformation. (19) Alarming surveys in the States - more than half of young people have no knowledge of the details of the Holocaust. (20) Jason Clare, Education Minister lacks education. Jason needs to sit down with the Holocaust survivors and be educated.
(21) JF is uttering a 'Genocide of the Jewish people' phrase. (22) We (in Australia) are in crisis and need to take action - this is what leaders do. (23) Talks about Elie Wiesel, a Noble laureate and Holocaust survivor. (24) Talking more about anti-Semitism and the need to enforce the law (in Australia). (25) Relationship between Australia and Israel is very important.
(26) Many Australians don't know how bad and dangerous the situation is. (27) In universites we've seen indoctrination instead of education. (28) Holocaust survivors in Australia are re-living their worst nightmares.
