wow! rhubarb is the next super-food! It is rich in Rhein, the molecule that inhibits FTO expression, mentioned in the FTO review article above.
I wonder if bisantrene and Rhein share a similar molecular structure?
Rhein has also been shown to help with traumatic brain injury, fibrosis of heart tissue, pancreatitis, diabetes control and osteo-arthritis....

Rhein is also listed as a cathartic....initially, we thought this would mean that a side-effect would be my husband violently unleashing repressed emotions, but apparently in medical terms, a cathartic means a substance that unleashes your bowels!
