Gneissic - What are you talking about? The debate via the scientific literature is over, and BOM has been caught with its pants down.
Atmospheric Research, the scientific journal which published Jennifer Morohasy's findings of data manipulation, has even refused to publish the rebuttal by BOM.
Refused!!
Oh dear. One can only surmise that the Bureau's rebuttal was so embarrassing that Atmospheric Research had no alternative but to protect it's own reputation for quality scientific discourse, and stay well away from anything that doesn't make the grade.
Laugh, alarmists - for laughter is the best medicine! Laugh at how your taxes are being used to fund an organisation that can't even get its foot in the door of the scientific literature.
This latest episode reminds me of what Mark Latham said about politics: "If you have to explain yourself, you've already lost." But the Bureau is even further in the poo, because it's not even allowed to explain itself!
Again - laugh! It's good for your health. After all, the world's going to end when it turns into an oven. You all know that, don't you?! Of course you do - the end is nigh - just as those poor souls walking down the streets with their sandwich boards have been promising us for centuries.
