Have been doing some research on this and found that Toyota is also building a mega factory, but for fuel cells.
They dont believe that batteries are the answer. The lithium air battery still has a way to go. (no cobalt in them anyway)
And changing to fuel cells it seems. In any case these fuel cells also require COBALT and platinium. These fuel cells have come a long way the last few years. They are also ramping up production of these cars.
So it looks like were on a win win thing here.
