    hahha havent invested in qantas in any way for at least 5 years...

    qantas are the 10 th biggest airline in the world and probably have the best safety rep. but ...they are laying off over 1000 middle management positions over the next few months so how can u ever be sure about where qantas is going....

    surcharges are normal practice now so they will always be profitable but

    can u make the high volatile fuels required to power a jet engine from other sources that is the question

    maybe we should be saving fossil fuels for uses such as aircraft use , making specialised plastics etc that are most suited and not easily replaced in production by other products.
