Quite frankly I think it is utter madness to support the Uranium industry. Chernobyl killed an estimated 1 million people and birth defects are still occurring today. There is a 30km dead zone around Chernobyl where no-one goes to this day.

What happens in the event of another natural disaster? What about if war breaks out? Terrorism?

These things are sitting nuclear bombs just waiting to go off, and more will in the future, and more children and people will die because of it.

The Japanese situation is much worse than is being presented, this situation is going to kill millions upon millions with cancer. The whole area around the reactors will be uninhabitable for thousands of years.

This is sheer madness and for what - money? What about the future of your children? I don't think you asked them if they wanted to be sucking down radioactive cancer causing particles.

We can always blame the cancer rates on smokers, so it will be ok.
