I suspect some shareholders did not do their home work and read the Prospectus. This SPP offer has long been tipped to be oversubscribed with some posters tipping CCC to be the share trade of the decade. True believers in this company did not hesitate to lodge applications for the SPP.
The Prospectus in last paragraph of clause 4.3 says, in effect "Applicants are encouraged to lodge their SPP Application Form ASAP........"

Clause 4.1 clearly states "The Directors reserve the right to reject any Application or to allocate any Applicant fewer shares than the number applied for"

Clause 4.6 says "Accordingly, CC reserves absolute discretion to scale back applications under the SPP to the extent and in the manner that it sees fit."

"If CC undertakes a scale back, you will receive the number of Shares determined by CC in its absolute discretion....."

So, unfortunately if CC SPP is oversubscribed than it is clear to me that those that did not act quickly may miss out on receiving full quantity of shares applied for.
