As Mr Abbott bombs the LNP from one side Mr Shorten like a good army commander has chosen to declare class war from the other side.

The govt has a policy of reducing tax on small to medium businesses. Mr Shorten has none of this.

Mr Shorten is demanding “a new focus on the biggest threat to our health as an economy and our cohesion as a society”.
In a speech prepared for a conference today, Mr Shorten will list uneven standards in wages and taxation, workplace bargaining and job scrutiny, health and education, gender treatment, home ownership and rental conditions.
Promoting what he called “the defining mission” of a Labor government, Mr Shorten made clear the tax system would be a top target."
