While I would agree that shareholders have been led on, that does not mean they were lied to. Back when I was analysing the NET updates, I would point out the "weasel words" NET were using, and how they made everything look so much better than a rational, informed analysis clearly showed it to be. But no one cared. I wasn't a shareholder so my analysis meant nothing, and all I got was abuse.

The reality is that the shareholders wanted to believe it all. But they can't say they weren't warned. I warned them.

Don't sprain anything patting yourself on the back.

Weasel words v lies? Firstly I disagree what they said fell into the weasel word category most of the time. There were unambiguous statements made frequently & anyway the difference between the two is one of degree only.
