more to the point - how about some focus on what the new director has achieved! from what I can find he was a leading healthcare and biotech analyst who was the first analyst to pick, call and cover Sirtex back in 2009.
Moved into an IR role with Sirtex in Mid 2017 and built the IR division from the ground up to around 12 broker analysts covering Sirtex. (tell me he wouldn't have a few analysts he could call on when the time is right?!?)
then by late 2018 presided over the LARGEST EVER medical device transaction in the country (A $1.9 AUD BILLION takeover)
all that matters is he sticks with the company this time around and judging by his director interest notification today - immediately buying shares on market after being appointed to the board.. tells me he has some longer term ambitions with the company this time around.
