That number is not extrapolated in any way, shape or form. That is a massive misunderstanding of the point to be fair. You actually can't do that as milliliters is a unit of volume whereas tonne is a unit of weight. In order to make a comparison one would need to know how many mils of Sandalwood oil it takes to weight 1 tonne.
