A rate of return is included in the calculation of the NPV. Something that would have been evident if we'd seen more than the press release.

That's why its called a 'discounted' cash rate - it includes a rate of return and sometimes a risk factor. A nominal discounted rate that I often see used is 15%. What Exergen used in their calculations is just one of the questions I have about the scoping study.
