Next door, at Woodside's Browse project, Woodside spent three years drilling six appraisal wells to define the project's extremities proving up the field to a point it could strike a long-term offtake agreement.

It took Woodside three years for six holes. Karoon should have completed three holes by the end of October this year. (the option for another six holes is already inked)

At no stage will Karoon farm down a portion of its interest as a means of securing funding, he says. "We've got a queue of people at the door wanting to finance it."

As soon as the next six options are taken up, perhaps even before... I'm finding it very hard not to ramp this stock... but ever since I got on FMG in NOV04 (and out again in early 05) I have not seen something that looks this good. I'm sticking with this one. Holding tight for the long term.
