It doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. I can't see how the recent weakening lead price along with the strong A$ can have such an impact as the economics of the project was done at a much lower lead price. The update also mentions an increased dividend which makes the further update even more perplexing. Must be an extremely hot market for waste batteries if we're looking at a second half loss considering the ramp up is progressing and currently at 20K tonnes per annum as jwt mentioned in an earlier post. Hopefully the company is either being extremely conservative or they are talking 30% over the second half of 07. Back to the waiting game!
