Another one of the interesting presentations at the Banana Shire Industry Summit was a representative from the coal mining company Cockatoo Coal.
Dr Oliver Holm is the General manager Surat Projects and Geology Cockatoo Coal who spoke about the future plans for the Taroom project and expansion for the Baralaba mine - where in the next 2-3 years the coal extracted could increase five fold.
I asked him first to explain what is happening currently at the Baralaba project.
