I think it comes down to trade selection and where the downfalls of trading one market come into play.
With the ability to trade any market why wouldnt you? Commodities, currencies, world indexs/stocks etc etc Why limit ourselves? With a bit of effort you can cherry pick a+++ trades.

Imo its taking sub par trades and mistaking them for a+ setups due to the pressures of monthly profit targets (etc)and not managing them accordingly that are the biggest killer. Least this way you can focus more on the process and less on the prize.

This can still very much be applied to part time traders. At the very least cherry picking and making a few % a month is very realistic and compounded over a year its hard to beat those returns.

Instead of viewing the markets from a gamblers mentality (untold risk, 10/20/30 baggers etc etc) view it a great avenue for wealth creation and act accordingly.

    Just my 1.3 cents

    Have a rad Sunday all

    Karl
