IMO As long as directors or "close to home" parties have good skin in the co, it is generally a given that they will be more incentivised to push for best outcomes, shareholder value and simply that they have belief in the project. Also secures some of the bigger holdings rather than having loose hands with high percentages of the business.
Likewise with contractors etc - although as we saw with Pybar, this can have a negative affect if things dont play out.
Anyway, it is nice to have a top 20 made up of entities that have successful investments elsewhere, doesnt hurt to have a bit of well known, high net worth clout in the list either. Market responds to it rather than fundamentals alone.
