I suspect the market reacted a bit more due to IFL's pending acq of/tie up with ANZ's funds mngmnt arm. Same space as Panorama.

Even if you include BT’s 20.41bn$ FUM, that doesn’t exactly make them look like a behemoth relative to the total size of the industry, right?
I personally suspect the market just did what it’s very good at doing: shoot first and think later.
Realised I had my sentiment and position wrong in my last post - had a short pos for the day. The market loves a quick panic in this sector for any reason ATM.
So you came back from a skiing holiday and right away put on a casual short on IFL for the day, just based on the WBC announcement and before even looking closely into the numbers?
