    For those of us who do not know how to estimate the AUMs, there is a way:

    You can simply go to the website and look at their funds performance. For example, I recorded AUM at the end of Jan of 2017 and the end of 2017. In the 11 month period, AUM grew around 25%. Those numbers are only the approximations of the FUMAA, but it came close. In the same period, the ASX200 index went up 5%.

    Here is another excel I used to compare the performance between the market index and the FUMAA. I am not sure why I stopped in 2011, but for those of you who are not familiar with the company, it is worth a look. After 2011, FID performed even better than the index than in the past and data is easy to find.

    You do not have to be a genius to understand the meaning of those numbers. Something has to be done right to get the results and it cannot be explained by luck. As I said, do your own work in each company you own. Otherwise, you would just be like a traveller in a train station trying to find the fastest train by hopping on and off, and never get to where you want to be.
