fund managers have their way

The general meeting cancelled, with all resolutions withdrawn. No doubt some investors told the board how they would vote and they saw a resounding defeat. No other reason to withdraw these resolutions. I wonder how the bonuses of these fund managers would be without companies like Sally, but when they have the opportunity to reward those contributing their wealth, they don't, instead they screw them.

Directors would be pretty p i s s e d off about this I think. When the options were proposed they were priced well above the market, now directors will go without. I am not sure this is appropriate.

As a shareholder I have no issues with paying the Directors who have been involved for the past 12 or more months and overseen such a great company making performance. Admittedly the new Directors should not have received them.
Hopefully the board stays together, but I imagine there would be some dissappointed people amongst it.
