Given what you say about PAC's hedge funds model (where the value is mainly realised at the end of a long period), it is not going to improve the recurring profit profile of Regal.
Quite curious to see how Regal will try to sell this deal to the market.

Regal is really a different model that most of other listed fund managers in Australia.
They have more sticky funds (funds committed for several years), but not easy to forecast the final return of these funds (depending on their performance, if I am not wrong).
