Also regarding retail I find JB HiFi usually beats markets expectations time and time again, a great retailer which I've held in the past, their results are usually pretty good gauge on the consumer. Wesfarmers is also a great stock but always looks slightly expensive, Bunnings is one of Australia's best businesses, also own K-Mart and Officeworks which are good contributors.
