GQG global portfolio (US) based on top 10 holdings : according to my calculation, June performance is - 4.4 % (in USD) vs - 7.5 % for S&P 500.
An Australian investor would benefit from the increase of USD vs AUD in June : + 4.2 %.
So, for an Australian investor, the global portfolio in AUD is quasi stable in June, while ASX all ord decreased by 6.7 % MTD.
Obviously, GQG continues to have a remarkable performance, due in particular to the rebound of oil stocks, after the recent consolidation.
The only scenario where GQG could suffer from bad performance : if there is another major decrease of the market where no sector would be able to perform.
As the company still wants to keep a minimum level of cash and does not want to go into short strategies.
