Thanks Saintex, read the article, agreed very detailed, something I've thought about before buying into Google as I've used ChatGPT. I think Google is so ingrained in our internet use (Gmail, Google maps, Google search, YouTube, Google drive) plus has a great balance sheet (100b USD net cash). Also owns its own hardware (Google pixel) and software (andriod which has 85% market share), has a competitive Google cloud service and is considered a great place to work attracting key industry talent. The AI fears are already incorporated into the price to some extent which leads to a margin of safety. Its not a large position, perhaps 2% of the portfolio, I'd add more under 70$ per share.
