I am thinking again about your idea on MGF.
It looks to me more and more interesting.
For 2 additional reasons :
- a good way to benefit from the increase of USD,
- but also because this portfolio looks quite defensive (tech + others) and could benefit from the significant decrease of long term rate (vs recent peak).
Since you mentioned it, NAV has continued to increase (by 3.9 %) and the stock has increased the same way.
This increase of the NAV is due both to the increase of the USD (vs AUD) and the increase of the portfolio in local currency (which seems to have outperformed S&P 500).
During the same period, ASX all ords has increased by only 0.3 %.
The main risk is probably more a market risk, than a specific correction for this kind of stocks.
