not too concerned about european banks.
the debt is not due for a number of years so valad needs to throw everything they've got at making sure they don't breach any covenatns which would allow banks to demand repayment.
yes foreign banks have been pulling out of australia, but valad's european debt is secured against debts in the UK and across europe, not australia, so i think refinancing is realistic.
