I suspect that CFU aren't in a position to demand up front deposits. The commercial reality of their fragile financing is that buyers are not willing to run the risk of the company falling over during long lead time to delivery. The only real way forward is for one or more government (UK or Germany) sponsored mega orders (>2000 units per year for x years) as a demonstration of commitment to the technology. Resultant share price run would create financing options. Hope they make it, great product but not too optimistic atm.
